DAY 4: Sunday August 26th, 2007: Packup, Cleanup, and
Bye Bye
BACK to INDEX
Page

Sadden
that today is the last day where friends, families, near and far must
depart and anticipate the coming year. Sadly the morning begins, and the
fun begins….PACKUP, CLEAN UP and GO HOME!!!
Look what you missed out on - Volunteers putting the boats and canoes back to the storage shed.

Thanks to Laddie Buck and Map who rowed the boats and canoes from accross the lake, and on the very last and final days, a small group of volunteers helped to put it back in the shed. It looks hard, but it was a FUN and good team building exercise.

It is the very last day and everyone has to packup and head home. It is unfortunate that this event happens only once a year. If you enjoy it and if your children like these types of outings, the Boy Scouts of America has many opportunities for your children to participate. It is an opportunity for your children to learn not only leadership, but moral skills that will benefit the child later on when they are to become responsible adults. There are quite a number of affluent and influential people living in America who are involved with the Boy Scouts of America from their early ages until later in their lives. They do make a difference in the child's life and we applaud all of their efforts. For more information, please contact one of our volunteers or visit: http://www.cpcbsa.org/

Rithya Tang, volunteer, mentor President of DNA Services of America, enjoy a morning or mopping not only the entire kitchen, but the bathrooms as well. If you have a bathroom that needs mopping, give Rithya a call and he will be more than happy to assist.

CACO Board Member, Mr. Michael Lim, enjoying hours of cleaning the kitchen that we were privileged to use during our stay at the camp. Service above self, a philosphy that seem to be common among those who find enjoyment in serving others. Great Job Mr. Lim. :) Thank you fro keeping the kitchen spotless.

CAN YOU GUESS WHO THIS IS? A garbage bag tied to the hip is definitely a fashion statement. Hint: he can sure shake it down on the dance floor.

AND WHILE EVERYONE IS HAVING FUN? LOOK WHO IS WORKING BUT LOVES IT. :) RICE PORIDGE ANYONE?
AND A SPECIAL THANKS TO THIS MAN RIGHT HERE. MR. SAMBO FOR GOING TO SO MUCH TROUBLE BRINGING THE MUSIC EQUIPMENT FOR ALL OF US TO ENJOY. DID YOU KNOW THAT HE OWNS A SCHOOL BUS AND THAT IS WHAT HE USES TO BRING THE EQUIPMENT TO THE CAMP? HE'S ALSO A TOP NOTCH MECHANIC THAT HAS A HABIT OF FIXING PEOPLE'S CAR WITHOUT CHARGING. AHEM...AHEM..I THINK I NEED A TUNE UP. YOU LOOK AT ALL THE SMILES ON THE DANCE FLOOR, IMAGINE THOSE SMILES WITHOUT THE EFFORTS OF BONG SAMBO AND HIS MUSICAL CREW. :) A SALUTE TO YOU MY FRIEND. THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER YEAR OF SMILES.

This way is the exit...will we see you again next year? Of
course!
And one more tribute to the Volunteers:
