
During our journey in and around Phnom Sompov we encountered a monk with no temple, but a small shed instead. Not a typical place for a holy man to worship. Although we could not to donate enough money to pay for the construction of a full size temple, we did make a second trip and brought along 300 lbs of rice, $20, and medicine for his aches and pains.
