This is the pond that we hired a company to come and dig for the local villagers who are experiencing a water crisis. Major water crisis. This is about 80% complete. The dimensions are 20x15 meters and 5 meters deep. A water pump was installed to avoid having people trying to retrieve water from the pond and risk falling in and/or drowning. A barb wire fence was also installed around the pond to protect children/people from using the pond for other things besides for drinking and cooking. Yes..."DRINKING". Can you believe it?
