During our tour of Battambong, we encountered a lady with 4 small children in the middle of nowhere. It is a good 45 minutes motorcycle ride on unpaved roads to get to a place where food and supplies can be purchased. Although we could not provide with food, we did donate 40,000 Reils ($10 US Dollars), a bottle of children's Tylenol, Antacids, and Solonpas heating pad. Not much in our standards, but definitely a little help with their daily struggles.
